Robotics Control Software Developer

A developer is needed to create a cross platform Industrial Robot Control program to plot, edit and execute robot motions. The program will comprise a cross platform UI and a real time control routine that reads data from the robots and sends commands to them. UIX Development is a key part of this as well as very good knowledge and experience with C/C++ for the lower-level control code. Part of the program will be a 3D representation of the Robot, so familiarity with modelling and viewing in 3D with OpenGl or similar is required. Machine Learning may be added, so experience with that is a plus.

Developer will need to write this program from the ground up but with extensive guidance and direction from project management based on existing robot control packages. Initial tasks would involve detailing design and timelines as well as confirming target platforms to be developed for.

Critical Requirements:

1. Extensive experience with C/C++;

2. Extensive experience with UI development

3. Familiarity with cross platform development.

4. Solid knowledge of development methodologies and project life cycles

5. Strong analytical skills

6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $115,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
