Title: Senior DSP/FPGA Firmware Engineer
Description:
- Senior DSP/FPGA Firmware Engineer, responsible for supporting and/or leading our research initiatives in communications, EW, and radar.
- Must be able to obtain a US DoD Security Clearance.
Location: Teleworking is encouraged, but candidate must live in the Atlanta area.
Responsibilities:
- Working with senior leadership, do one or more of the following:
- Design and prototype simulation models and hardware implementations.
- Design, construct and test prototype hardware circuitry.
- Design and implement embedded signal processing algorithms.
- Support technical reporting for projects and proposals.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5-10 years experience in FPGA fabric design and implementation and/or embedded DSP software, for communications and/or radar applications.
- Detail-oriented self-starter who can function independently.
- Good communications skills, with the ability to develop, document, and maintain processes, methods and tools.
- MS preferred, BS acceptable with additional experience.
Other Qualifications (not required but would be beneficial):
- Experience in circuit design and construction.
- Experience in Python, MATLAB, or C/C++.
- Coursework or experience in signal processing.
- Coursework or experience in modern communication systems.
- Coursework or experience in radar.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
