Job Summary

As a Microsoft Azure Architect, you will play a pivotal role in this journey by designing and implementing innovative cloud solutions tailored to our clients' unique needs.

Essential Functions

Design Strategy: Craft robust, scalable, and secure Azure cloud architectures aligned with business objectives and best practices.

Solution Development: Lead the deployment of applications, workloads, and services on the Azure platform.

Integration: Ensure seamless integration of new and existing systems into the Azure environment.

Optimization: Continuously assess and optimize infrastructure, ensuring cost efficiency and performance enhancement.

Collaboration: Work closely with various teams, including developers, security, and operations, to deliver comprehensive solutions.

Stay Updated: Keep abreast with Azure updates, new services, and other relevant cloud technologies to ensure the delivery of state-of-the-art solutions.

Security Compliance: Implement security controls, policies, and procedures, ensuring the safeguarding of data and compliance with industry regulations.

Required Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Proficiency in a range of Azure services like VMs, Azure Active Directory, Azure Kubernetes Service, and Azure DevOps.
• Strong understanding of cloud migration techniques, including PaaS, SaaS, and IaaS models.
• Azure Solutions Architect certification or equivalent is preferred.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation.
• Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, to explain complex technical concepts to a diverse audience.

** This is a remote position with on-demand travel to Northern Virginia. **
