Job Title: Systems Administrator

Location: Johnson City, TN
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to join our growing Information Technology team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system administration, with expertise in Microsoft 365 technologies. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving our IT infrastructure, including both on-premise systems and cloud-based applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee, administer, and optimize our Microsoft 365 environment, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and Azure AD.
Administer, monitor, and manage physical and virtual servers across various locations, ensuring high availability and performance.
Troubleshoot network and system issues, conduct regular system audits, and oversee scheduled backups.
Develop, document, and enforce system standards and procedures.
Collaborate with IT Support team to resolve complex issues and provide technical guidance.
Ensure business continuity by developing and implementing disaster recovery plans and data redundancy measures.
Manage user accounts and permissions, aligning with company security policies.
Work closely with the IT procurement team for the acquisition of system-related hardware and software.
Provide training and support for staff, aiding in the effective use of systems and applications.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience as a Systems Administrator or in a similar role.
Proven experience managing and supporting large-scale IT infrastructures.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 Administration, Azure AD, and associated cloud technologies.
Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms.
Solid knowledge of IT security best practices and principles.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Willingness to work in different shifts and provide on-call support as needed.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Relevant professional certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, or equivalent.
Experience in a BPO or call center environment.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work collaboratively with a team as well as independently.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize under pressure.
