Cloud Software Engineer / e-Commerce

Job Description An e-Commerce company is searching for a Cloud Software Engineer to join their team. This engineer will be required to be local to the Chicago area in this full-time role.

• 5+ years of professional experience in multi-cloud environments, or in AWS or GCP cloud environments respectively.
• Experience with containers such as Kubernetes and Docker
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines
• Expertise in developing code for applications (Python, Javascript, etc.)
• BS in Computer Science or related fields

Desired Skills Experience

• Coding with Python, Java, or other backend languages
• Strong proficiency in either AWS or GCP cloud governance principles at a Senior level.

• 20% Coding
• 20% CI/CD implementation
• 20% Containerization (K8s, Istio)

Daily Responsibilities

• 70% Hands On
