A Systems Administrator is responsible for overseeing the system onboarding, maintenance and security of company intranets and computer systems. Their duties include installing antivirus or malware protection software, responding to employee concerns or drafting documents to help employees use computer systems and coordinating with company leadership to determine new technologies that could enhance their company’s computer systems.

Position Overview: The System Administrator will play a pivotal role in deploying, maintaining, and securing our Microsoft Dynamics Business Central (BC) and LS Central platforms, all while leveraging Azure's robust cloud capabilities. This position ensures smooth day-to-day operations and supports our growth ambitions in the ever-evolving retail landscape.
- Deployment Maintenance
- Implement, configure, and maintain Microsoft Dynamics BC and LS Central across our retail outlets.
- Ensure system performance by monitoring and tuning as necessary.
- Deploy updates and patches as required, ensuring minimal disruption to store operations.
- Azure Cloud Management
- Utilize Azure's cloud capabilities to optimize the deployment and scalability of our platforms.
- Monitor resource usage, cost forecasts, and optimize Azure deployments to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations.
- Establish backup and disaster recovery procedures using Azure services.
- Security Compliance
- Implement and enforce security protocols for both Dynamics BC and LS Central, ensuring data integrity and protection from external threats.
- Coordinate with the cybersecurity team to ensure full compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
- Support Troubleshooting
- Provide tier-2/3 support for Dynamics BC and LS Central related issues, collaborating with our support team.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical problems related to the platforms and Azure services.
- Train internal teams on best practices and troubleshoot common issues.
- Documentation Reporting
- Document system configurations, procedures, and changes.
- Generate reports on system performance, usage statistics, and costs.
