Technical Business Analyst

Mandatory- It is critical that candidates have real current experience with SQL, as for both parts of the role they will need to do a lot of hands-on complex querying. We are looking for someone who has a technical background but has a passion for working on the business/project rather than software development.

Description

Technical Business Systems Analyst to drive software improvement efforts and

coordinate customer integrations. One aspect of the position will be measuring application activity

behavior, analyzing the results, presenting the data and proposing enhancements to leadership. Another

will be overseeing the usage of our Customer Acceptance Testing environment, including planning test

scenarios, scheduling integrations, working directly with Customers on workflow configuration and

technical troubleshooting of issues. This position is highly visible within the organization and will involve

both significant facetime with internal external contacts and heads-down development analysis.

The ideal candidate will have professional programming experience, a proven history of coordinating

technical projects, and a thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle. In addition, you

must be highly organized, be able to see the big picture, possess a keen attention to detail, and have the

patience to listen and understand but the conviction to speak up and explain your decisions.

Responsibilities

• Run regular meetings with both Development teams Project Stakeholders
• Define, implement track metrics to measure project success
• Schedule meetings as needed with Customers to coordinate integration testing
• Become a Subject Matter Expert on your assigned project areas
• Prioritize your assignments and deliver on time with minimal oversight
• Adhere to the goal of delivering and maintaining the highest quality of software
• Learn our business model and understand existing enterprise applications

Skills/Qualifications

• 3+ years current experience with SQL Server writing complex queries
• 1+ years as a Business Analyst or Product Manager OR
• 1+ years in a Project Coordination or Team Lead role
• 1+ years working experience with Data Analytics visualization tools (Tableau or PowerBI)
• Outstanding communication, analytical and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with build/release processes and continuous integration

Bonus Points

• Experience in the healthcare or insurance industry
• Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $110,844.19 - $120,389.96 per year
