Web Developer and IT Tech

POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible to develop web applications through writing code for the front and back end of websites using programming languages like HTML, XML, CSS and others with a clear understanding of the company’s needs and design preferences and running tests to ensure the correct code strings are being used, so that the company’s websites are running smoothly and offer easy access points with no loading issues between pages or error messages.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES.

• Designs user interfaces, navigations menus, and graphics.
• Testing web applications to ensure correct coding was used.
• Assists with the maintenance and upkeep of the company’s various websites.
• Optimization of site speed and security.
• Ensures cross-device and cross-browser compatibility.
• Occasionally generates site content.
• Assists with various IT related needs in the company.
• Assist in special projects as required by Management.

Other duties as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven proficiency in front-end technologies like JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5 and experience with server-side frameworks like Python, Ruby, PHP, Java, ASP and .NET
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent experience.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Experience in manufacturing, ecommerce and/or retail is preferred.
• Strong leadership skills to manage and motivate a team.
• Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
• Ability to think creatively and innovatively.
• Analytical skills to forecast and identify trends and challenges.
• Familiarity with the latest trends, technologies and methodologies in graphic design, web design, and production.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Ability to stay focused and on-task.
• Consistency and attention to detail are a must.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Detail oriented, with ability to work in a team.
• Critical thinking and ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
• Medium knowledge of Excel and Word is required.
• Unquestionable integrity and work ethics.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those a team member encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

• While performing the duties of this job the noise level in the work environment is usually medium, in a climate-controlled environment.
• Occasionally, this job may be subject to heat and cold as it relates to the warehouse and manufacturing environment. Hearing and eye protection are mandatory while on premises.

In addition to the other duties described herein, every team member has the following responsibilities related to compliance with laws and regulations:

• Perform the duties described in compliance with local laws and regulations.
• Have knowledge of the ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relating to the team member’s department.
• Consult Policy Manuals for guidance.
• Report illegal activity to the Upper Management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
