A typical day
- You will have the opportunity to learn: Software development languages like Java, .Net, Go, and Python. Technologies: Docker\Kubernetes, SQL/NoSQL, APIs. Platforms for integration like MuleSoft
- The hands-on work you will experience: As a Software Engineering Apprentice at HP, you'll work as part of a larger team of experienced developers in an interactive, collaborative environment.
- You'll work on backend systems for large-scale applications for users on web and mobile devices.
- You'll have opportunities to solve real issues by analyzing system integrations and debugging code.
- You'll learn the fundamentals of development, design, testing, agile principles, and continuous delivery.
- Best of all, you will contribute to your team, putting forward ideas, taking on responsibilities, and making choices about how you get the job done.
You must have
- Either a High School Diploma, GED, or Associate Degree
- Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree are not eligible
- Candidates must have the right to work in the USA
Skills needed

- Prior interest in coding; some exposure to software development through personal projects, academics, or professional experience
- Able to work independently and take initiative, as well as work collaboratively and contribute to an agile team environment
