Q2 Artificial Lift Services (ALS) is a downhole rod pump supply manufacturer for the Oilfield industry. Q2 has 40+ service facilities located across the United States and Canada and sells to a worldwide market. Our service locations are supported by a world-class manufacturing operation (API ISO Certified), plus a highly skilled engineering and optimization group.
We are actively seeking an individual for the position of VB.NET SQL Programmer for our Midland Texas location. PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT POSSESS THE VB.NET EXPERIENCE (2-3 years)
General Responsibilities:
Monday thru Friday 8AM – 5PM (1hr lunch).
2 weeks paid vacation per year.
Health Insurance (BlueCross BlueShield 401K available)
1 week paid sick leave per year.
Salaried position depending on experience (75K+)

We are actively seeking an individual for the position of VB.NET SQL Programmer for our Midland Texas location. PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT POSSESS THE VB.NET EXPERIENCE (2-3 years)
General Responsibilities:
- Design and develop desktop applications for deployment throughout the organization.
- Design and support web-based applications for customer facing systems.
- Develop Windows Services to automate manual business processes.
- Support and maintain in-house legacy applications including modifications.
- Create and maintain SSRS Reports to per business requirements.
- Manage and support systems throughout their full development lifecycle (concept to user support)..
- Manage application servers such as SQL, IIS and RDP to support the business software.
- Proficiency building VB.NET Desktop Applications is essential. (2-3 years)
- Experience writing advanced SQL procedures (including T-SQL, CTE and extended functions) is essential (2-3 years)
- Experience with ASP.NET (MVC), HTML and JavaScript is highly desirable.
- Working knowledge of VBA and VB6 (for legacy application support) is required (1-2 years).
- Experience with MS Access desired but not necessary.
- Excellent organizational skills. Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people in a professional manner, face to face, on the telephone and in writing.
- Ability to demonstrate practical troubleshooting and problem analysis techniques. Good attention to detail and ability to show initiative.
