Software Developer—Front End

Some things you’ll be doing:

• Design, implement, test, and improve various aspects of our portal’s user experience
• Implement a new page or report design based on a mock-up from our designer.
• Fix some weirdness with webpack to get the build moving again.
• Make a difference to help our company's mission to secure a million people.
• Identify gaps in processes and tasks and work to fill them.

Skills you have:

• You know HTML, CSS, and [Java|Type]Script like the back of your hand
• Detail-focused, critical thinking, and stellar problem-solving skills
• Self-directed and high agency
• Vast experience writing testable, self-documenting code.
• Experience with modern front-end web stacks (e.g. React, Vue, AlpineJS, Angular, Bootstrap, Tailwind)
• Experience working with RESTful APIs

Bonus:

• Strong written and verbal communications
• Can explain technical concepts to non-technical and technical audiences alike.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
