Application Engineer

We are a pioneering start up that's in hyper-growth mode on the hunt for top tier candidates to add to our team! We design and produce cutting-edge, industrial-grade wireless networking solutions specializing in mesh networking for robotics, drones, and the Industrial Internet of Things.

We are looking to add an Application Engineer to the team. This hire will collaborate with our sales team to provide demos and design-in support for new and ongoing projects. In addition, they will engage with ecosystem partners to build integrations with 3rd party technologies as well as contribute to our library of application notes, white papers, and support documentation.

Responsibilities:
1. Designing, developing, and testing application software to modify and improve our existing systems and meet our business needs.
2. Providing technical support to our customers, ensuring they have an excellent user experience and resolving any issues they may encounter.
3. Collaborating closely with other team members, including software engineers and product managers, to ensure our products meet high standards of quality and usability.
4. Utilizing your knowledge of TCP/IP, OpenWrt, WiFi, and networking to improve our systems and applications.
5. Taking a proactive approach to problem-solving, identifying potential issues before they arise, and implementing effective solutions.
6. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements, ensuring our company remains at the forefront of technology.
7. Working in a fast-paced, startup environment where adaptability and flexibility are essential.

You should know some of the following:

• Experience working in a Linux networking environment
• Knowledge of wireless communication systems, RF signal propagation, and digital communication technologies
• Understanding of IP radios and TCP/IP protocol (OpenWrt is a plus)
• Experience deploying, operating, and testing WiFi-based networks
• Must be a U.S. Citizen in order to engage with US Government customers
