Are you a technology enthusiast with a knack for problem-solving and a passion for systems engineering? Our dynamic and fast-paced tech company is looking for an experienced Full Time Systems Engineer to join our team. With your expertise in MCSE, Active Directory, and Exchange Server, you will be instrumental in ensuring our system infrastructure's efficiency and reliability.
As a Systems Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and collaborate with a team of dedicated professionals to enhance our system's performance and security. This role is ideal for a highly motivated individual who thrives in a challenging environment and has a keen interest in staying abreast of the latest technology trends.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement system infrastructure to support business objectives and strategies.
2. Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure.
3. Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
4. Ensure the highest level of system and infrastructure availability.
5. Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes.
6. Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
7. Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks.
8. Participate in the design of information and operational support systems.
9. Provide 2nd and 3rd level support.
10. Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 2+ years of Systems Administration OR engineering with a Solution Integrator is a MUST.
3. Proven experience with MCSE, Active Directory, and Exchange Server.
4. Solid networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP).
5. Proven ability to develop and maintain system documentation.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage complex system requirements.
7. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
8. Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. ITIL Certification.
9. Strong understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.
10. Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
11. Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.
12. Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
13. Strong customer service orientation.
14. Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
