Our organization designs and manufactures advanced automotive systems including autonomous-ready infotainment, ADAS solutions, premium audio systems, high-definition displays, and powertrain electronics for conventional, electric, and hybrid vehicles, serving major automotive and heavy-duty truck manufacturers across the United States since 1979​.

Title: Sr. Applications Engineer
Location: Detroit, MI
Salary: $115,000 - $130,000
Requirements: Management of Cloud Based Solutions/ AWS Integration/ .NET

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain software applications to ensure efficient operations.
• Collaborate with the team to identify and prioritize software requirements.
• Analyze and resolve complex technical issues related to the software applications.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users.
• Maintain documentation of software design, coding, and testing activities.
• Participate in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements.
• Work closely with other engineers and developers to ensure system consistency.
• Develop high-quality code that is scalable, efficient, and reusable.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our applications remain current.
• Assist in the development of cyber security measures to protect our applications and data.
• Utilize big data methodologies to improve our software applications.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience of 5+ years as a Senior Applications Engineer or similar.
• Proficiency in .NET, NET core, and C# is a must.
• Strong experience with scripting languages like PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
• Solid understanding of Bootstrap and ReactJS.
• Experience with Big Data methodologies and tools.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IAC) methodologies.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for spotting errors and inconsistencies.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
