Job Details

As a Master Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing our organization’s master data. Your focus will be on designing, implementing, and maintaining robust data pipelines and systems, ensuring master data quality, and supporting data governance initiatives.
  • Lead the delivery of Master Data Management products, including developing the vision, strategy, development plan, and roadmap
  • Collaborate with data stewards to design, develop and prioritize capabilities from data acquisition, integration, transformation, storage, to dissemination, ensuring data quality, security, and compliance.
  • Maintain and improve existing master data management systems while evaluating and implementing future improvements and solutions
  • Write complex system queries into operational systems to extract datasets that meet master data source ingestion requirements
  • Employ programming languages like Java and Python in relation to enhancing master data applications
  • Foster an innovative and inclusive team by counselling and mentoring members the organization

  • At least 8 years of experience as a Data Engineer or Data Architect with at least 2 years with a Master Data Management/Data Governance focused role
  • Previous experience in administration and design of Master Data applications (e.g. SAP Master Data Governance, Profisee, Tibco EBX) and best practices
  • Proven experience as a Data Engineer and/or Software Developer with proficiency in Java and/or Python
  • In-depth knowledge with Azure cloud services (e.g. ADF, Synpase, PowerBI, PowerQuery), relational database design principles, T-SQL, ETL/ELT processes/tooling, data modeling, and database design principles.
  • High level knowledge of Microsoft Purview

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Science, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
