Job Description

A large insurance company is looking for a Senior software engineer to work on their medical professional liability insurance application. The ideal contractor will have an extensive amount of experience in the insurance space and be located in or around Boston. The software you will be developing is crucial to risk management for healthcare providers. You will be implementing new technologies and revamping their current code base.

You will be developing using C#, .NET Core, and SQL. They are also working in the cloud and will require someone with hands-on experience using Azure. This is a contract position that will require some on-site presence in Boston.

Required Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, and related fields.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience using C# and .NET
  • 5+ years of experience working hand-on within Azure.
  • Experience using SQL.
Desired Skills and Experience
  • Experiencing developing databases using ETL.
  • Past work with Insurance companies or related industries.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Collaborate closely with team members to meet requirements.
