DevOps Engineer
Remote Position
Extendable Contract position

Join the team as a DevOps Tech Lead for an exciting project in the Omni Channel department. This role is 100% remote and requires hands-on experience in setting up DevOps practices from scratch. You'll play a crucial role in defining and implementing CI/CD and Azure cloud DevOps requirements to support various seamless commerce initiatives.


  • Design, manage, and maintain tools for automating operational processes on internally hosted infrastructure.
  • Set up APM, logs, and traces on Datadog for various selling channels like Site, App, and Stores.
  • Implement GitLab CI/CD and integrations to Azure cloud environments, including Artifactory, automation testing tools, and Hashicorp Vault.
  • Partner with IT Infrastructure to establish Morpheus automation frameworks for fully automating code deployments.
  • Support Azure APIM design requirements and monitor Azure cloud deployments and application performance.
  • Administer tools or environments to support Digital Operations and troubleshoot issues as necessary.
  • Collaborate with IT Security to automate security controls, governance processes, and compliance validations.
  • Stay updated on relevant technologies, plug into user groups, and understand trends and opportunities.


  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in an infrastructure or DevOps role supporting development community activities.
  • Proficiency in Azure, GitLab CI/CD, and shell scripting (Python, Groovy, shell, and/or Powershell).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Jenkins, Git, Artifactory, Ansible, and more.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform for containerization and orchestration.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent Software Engineering experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of e-commerce platforms such as IBM Sterling OMS, Radial OMS, Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC).
  • Experience with Agile Development methodologies and application performance analysis.
  • Familiarity with related software development tools like Jira, Confluence, Npm, Grafana, Prometheus, SonarQube.
  • Strong technical project management and documentation skills.
