Job Details

The LabVIEW Software Engineer is tasked with designing and implementing LabVIEW-based software solutions in line with customer requirements, while employing strategies to enhance LabVIEW's efficiency and effectiveness. This role involves working closely with diverse teams to integrate software solutions and conduct extensive testing for optimal functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement LabVIEW applications for control systems and data acquisition, adhering to customer needs and project timelines.
Apply advanced LabVIEW coding techniques to improve system performance and operational efficiency.
Work in conjunction with interdisciplinary teams for the seamless integration of LabVIEW software with various hardware components and external systems.
Perform thorough testing and debugging to guarantee the reliability and effectiveness of the software.
Develop intuitive and user-friendly graphical user interfaces (GUIs) for LabVIEW applications, improving user experience and accessibility.
Offer technical support and troubleshooting guidance to customers during the stages of implementation and deployment.
Document all aspects of software development including design processes, development stages, and user instructions for future reference.
Keep abreast of the latest developments in LabVIEW technology; participate in relevant workshops and conferences to maintain and enhance skill set.
Support senior developers in the creation and testing of LabVIEW applications.
Engage in software design and development discussions, providing valuable insights and suggestions.
Research emerging technologies and LabVIEW tools, sharing findings and recommendations with the team.
Assist in drafting documentation, including specifications for software requirements and test protocols.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information in alignment with company values.
Undertake cross-functional analysis and lead specific project initiatives as needed


Requirements:

Proficiency in National Instruments LabVIEW programming, including both Core and Advanced modules
In-depth understanding of LabVIEW Real-Time and LabVIEW FPGA modules
Experience in creating LabVIEW applications for data acquisition, control systems, and automated testing
