Job Summary

  • We are seeking a talented SQL Developer to join our team to design, develop, and maintain robust database solutions. You'll play a key role in optimizing data storage, retrieval, and analysis, ensuring the performance and integrity of our data systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Database Development and Design: Create and maintain relational databases using SQL Server (or other relevant database technologies). Design efficient tables, schemas, and normalization practices.
  • Stored Procedures, Triggers, and Functions: Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions to support applications and business processes.
  • Performance Tuning: Analyze and troubleshoot database performance issues, implement indexing strategies, and optimize queries for efficiency.
  • Data Warehousing/ETL: Participate in the design and development of data warehouses or data marts. Build and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to move data between systems.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations using tools like SSRS, Power BI, or other BI platforms.
  • Documentation: Create clear and comprehensive documentation of database structures, processes, and code.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with developers, data analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions.


  • Required:
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
    • 3 years of experience developing with SQL Server or comparable relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).
    • Expertise in writing SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
    • Understanding of database design principles, normalization, and indexing techniques.
  • Preferred:
    • Experience with data warehousing and ETL concepts.
    • Knowledge of reporting and visualization tools (SSRS, Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
    • Experience in a specific industry (e.g., healthcare, finance) with related domain knowledge.
