Job Description

Location: Arlington, TX – hybrid
Contract: Temp to Hire (6 months)
Pay Range: $46 - $55/hr.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Support the development and improvement of open architectures, applications, infrastructure, and cloud platforms.
  • Implement Cloud best practices and technologies like DevSecOps, Big Data/Analytics, AI, Micro-Services.
  • Assist in the architecture, design, development, troubleshooting, and implementation of cloud solutions.
  • Collaborate with the Cyber Security team to ensure secure and compliant solutions.
  • Provide innovative solutions and report task status.
  • Travel occasionally for customer site maintenance.
  • Generate designs and evaluate technology solutions.
  • Interface with customers and work effectively as part of a team.
  • Mentor junior engineers and prioritize tasks.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:
  • Eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering)
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in a specific technology practice
  • Experience in networking, operating systems, virtualization, and high-order software languages
  • Experience with container management technologies, source code repositories, defect management systems, and Agile methodologies
  • Experience briefing technical topics

Preferred Skills:
  • Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to analyze technical procedures and solve problems logically
  • Experience with databases, service-based architectures, Web APIs, and CI/CD pipeline tools
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, XML, JSON, Linux bash scripting, and infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, Cloud Formation, Microsoft Bicep)
  • Experience with Multi-Factor Authentication platforms, scaling applications, and DOD networks
  • Certifications such as IAT Level 2, CompTIA Cloud+, Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Certifications, and others listed in the job description
Additional Preferred Experience:
  • Designing, developing, and deploying custom air-gapped systems
Candidates should possess strong technical skills, security clearance eligibility, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
