Enterprise Systems Engineer
Location: Irvine, CA - 1-2 days/week onsite (Hybrid)

Job Details

What you will be doing:

Responsible for developing and supporting solutions incorporating the following areas: Cloud Services, Data Centers, Third Party Service Providers, Software Vendors, and Hardware Vendors.
Working with business teams to understand requirements and strategy in deriving technical requirements that are validated and verified with the primary stakeholders such as Product Management, Product Development, Sales, Operations, etc.
Produce operational system solutions which may entail deployment of net new or replacing aging/legacy systems, processes, and procedures.
Incorporate industry, vendor and environment technology architecture and process best practices in terms of security, availability, capacity, total cost of ownership, etc., endorsed and supported by Product Development as required.
Ensure that the establishment and changes of these operational system solutions are aligned with the regulatory and compliance needs of Origence.
Responsible for developing and architecting solutions supporting operational management and monitoring for service quality, performance, availability, capacity, security, system changes, working documentation, and operating cost. (25%)
Establish a monitoring roadmap and strategy for critical areas such as storage performance and capacity, network performance, abnormal systems trends, etc.
Monitor operational trends that require identifying metrics and setting baselines, establishing a review process and generating a roadmap to take appropriate corrective actions.
Performing impact analyses of critical system changes to prevent deterioration of agreed upon service levels.
Assess and recommend areas of improvements in the environment related to regulatory compliance of a CUSO wile properly supporting the Credit Unions and their members.

Skills needed for this role:

Experience/education architecting, implementing, monitoring and managing enterprise private and public cloud infrastructure on the Windows platform (virtual machines, storage, network, scripting tools, management tools, monitoring tools, etc.).
Experience/education architecting, implementing, monitoring and managing private cloud and Azure cloud-based infrastructure services (DNS, File Storage, SQL Server, traffic manager, certificate services, monitoring services, etc.).
Comfortable supporting all facets of internal and public Certificate Authorities, TLS, Code Signing and Client certificate Public Key Infrastructure lifecycle (creation, renewal, revocation).

Huge plus:
Significant experience configuring and troubleshooting IIS web servers in enterprise, public-facing SaaS environments a plus
