We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team in the medical industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of our SQL databases, as well as implementing and managing data integration and reporting solutions using tools like SSIS, SSRS, ETL, and Azure Data Factory.

Job Details


  • Design, develop, and maintain SQL databases to ensure high levels of data availability and security.
  • Implement data integration and reporting solutions using SSIS, SSRS, and ETL.
  • Work closely with the IT team and other stakeholders to gather requirements and develop solutions.
  • Utilize Azure Data Factory for the orchestration and execution of ETL workflows.
  • Monitor and optimize system performance using index tuning, disk optimization, and other methods.
  • Assist in developing and implementing data standards, procedures, and guidelines to ensure data integrity, dependability, and security.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, system anomalies, and data inconsistencies.
  • Participate in the planning and implementation of data platform services, including sizing, configuration, and needs assessment.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to other team members.
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements to ensure the effectiveness of our data systems.


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Systems Engineer, or in a similar role.
  • Strong experience with SQL, SSIS, SSRS, ETL, and Azure Data Factory.
  • Proven experience in the design, development, and maintenance of SQL databases.
  • Strong understanding of data integration, reporting solutions, and database performance tuning.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with the medical industry is a plus.
