Technical Consultant

Our client, a company with over 40 years of experience in the software industry, is looking for a Sr. Technical Consultant to join their team. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic, engaging, and fluid work environment, where they will use their technical expertise to design complex projects and lead a team of software developers in support of the company's software solutions.

As a Sr. Technical Consultant, you will engage with various business clients and technical stakeholders to drive implementation and ensure a quality solution is designed, built, and delivered. You will be the senior resource for clients on technical design, questions, concerns, and issues. You will also be an integral part of the senior project leadership team along with project managers, business analysts, and account managers.

In this role, you will design and build complex technical solutions to real-life business problems using a wide variety of technologies such as Oracle PL/SQL, SQL, C#, Java, ASP.Net, and JavaScript. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to serve as a mentor and technical advisor for the development team through the design, development, and implementation of software solutions.

Requirements

• BS in CS, Engineering, or similar
• 8+ years of software development experience
• Experience in a client-facing consultant role and experience leading a team of developers
• Possess a depth and breadth of knowledge and experience in a wide variety of technologies such as PL/SQL, SQL, Java, C#, ASP.net, and other technologies
• Have a "consultant mindset" to help clients solve business challenges through a clear understanding of constraints, budget, and need
