Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and Senior API Engineer to join our applications engineer team. The primary responsibilities for this position are to build and maintain solutions for high availability.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and document APIs specifications
- Design and configure Azure API Management specs and policies
- Write high-quality and performant code
- Write unit tests and functional tests
- Configure DevOps pipelines and deployment tasks
- Optimize SQL queries and stored procedures
- All other duties as assigned.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or related fields
Qualifications
- Seven or more years of Full-Stack Application Development experience focused on API development and management of APIs
- Follows Agile Methodologies and SCRUM process
- Good written and verbal communication to development peers
- Writes secure, performant, scalable, and testable high-quality application code
- Follows Architecture/Design of Application, Technical/Non-functional User Stories, Code and Quality Reviews
- Follows Enterprise guidelines and standards
- Familiar with governing API standards via API management tools
- Familiar with automated API provisioning using API management tools
