Job Title: Business System Analyst (Pharmaceutical Sales data)

Location: South San Francisco (Hybrid - 3 days a week in-office)

Job Description:

[Domain]: Minimum 8 years of experience as Business Systems Analyst in Pharmaceutical with commercial data know-how including sales, payer, customer master data, alignment. Formularies datasets

Experience working with visualization tools like Qlik sense, Tableau, Open source tools, and web applications.

Experience of working in end-to-end software development lifecycle.

Hands-on expertise with Jira, Confluence, Trello, Lucid Chart and Google Suite.

Be on-site 3-4 days a week and/or as required by product team.

Excellent communication (written and oral) and presentation skills; solid business acumen of US Commercial Market in Pharma industry; well-honed influencing skills are essential.

Self-motivated and team-oriented; able to work both autonomously and effectively as part of a geographically dispersed team.

Must have data and hands on experience with data related initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand business requirements related to sales, payer, and commercial data sets.
• Work closely with product owners, stakeholders, and end-users to ensure clear communication and alignment of project objectives.
• Translate business requirements into comprehensive documentation, including user stories, use cases, and functional specifications.
• Participate in agile development processes, utilizing tools such as Jira to manage and track project progress.
• Assist in defining project scope, objectives, and success criteria.
• Analyse and interpret complex data sets to derive actionable insights.
• Create and maintain data visualizations to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations.
• Collaborate with technical teams to implement solutions that meet business needs.
• Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and assist in resolving issues as they arise.
• Provide support and training to end-users on system functionalities and tools.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices related to business analysis and data visualization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Proven experience as a Business System Analyst, preferably in a senior role.
• Strong knowledge of sales, payer, and other commercial data sets.
• Proficiency in agile methodologies and tools, with a focus on Jira.
• Exceptional communication and documentation skills.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Ability to analyse and interpret complex data sets.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Knowledge of data privacy and security regulations is a plus.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $55.00 - $56.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
