Qualifications

• Languages and frameworks like GOlang, Java, Spring, C#, .NET, JavaScript, Rust, and Python
• You feel more comfortable helping less experienced client SAs and Platform Engineers build great software platforms
• You feel capable of adapting your style to the needs of your team
• This position will perform work that the U.S. government has specified can only be performed by a U.S. citizen on U.S. soil, and therefore any offer will be contingent upon verification of both of these requirements

Responsibilities

• Infrastructure and platform observability, networking, security, and reliability engineering practices and tools such as Prometheus Grafana, Wavefront, Datadog, ingress/egress networking
• You will build and modernize a valuable custom platform for apps to run on using modern engineering best practices
• You've improved the skills and abilities of your client teammates so they can keep building and improving a great platform themselves using Tanzu products!
• Be a crucial member of a team dedicated to helping a single customer achieve their technical and platform as a product goal
• Build and modernize a custom platform built the right way
• Collaborate/Pair daily with client Platform Engineers Architects to solve complex problems in uncertain environments using a combination of their domain knowledge and your skills
• Work user stories that are prioritized in a backlog
• Keep your team informed and productive
• Advocate for modern best practices like Agile, Automation, and Pair Programming that make digital transformation a reality
• Perform research, brainstorm solutions, and help guide product direction
• Balance opportunities and business needs while keeping client engineers aligned and supportive
• Support consumer facing or internal go-to-market launches of new product platforms
• Participate in platform demos, retrospectives, stand-ups, and other key meetings virtually or in-person
