Global FinTech firm is seeking a Project Manager – Operations for a remote contract opportunity!

Contract Duration: 6+ Months Required Skills Experience
  • BA/BS
  • Minimum 3 years with direct project management experience successfully executing Technology Operations and Business Process Improvement initiatives
  • Experience with Client Management, Business Analysis, Management Processes
  • Finance Accounting a plus
  • Experience in a Technical Project Management/Project Leadership role preferred
  • Metrics driven approach to measuring success of projects with strong analytical background
  • Collaborative
  • Excellent Organizational, Leadership, Decision-Making Communication Skills
  • MS Office suite
What You Will Be Doing Daily Responsibilities
  • Manage strategic efficiency optimization initiatives as assigned to achieve Active Network operational goals
  • Identify and document problem statement, objective, and target date(s) for each initiative
  • Break down issues into appropriate execution paths sufficient to effectively move forward and communicate status while also ensuring a timely start and conclusion to the initiative
  • Proactively identify required subject experts necessary to establish the critical path and to achieve initiative goals by required target dates
  • Accurately track communicate status to senior management on a weekly basis
  • Commit to deliver against target dates
  • Proactively identify mitigate all risks to achieve target completion dates
  • When necessary, proactively escalate to senior management with mitigation options to facilitate decisions necessary to retain the schedule
  • Accurately summarize, document, communicate, execute against mitigation decisions made
  • Interact with resources, vendors, clients, prospects, and management staff as required to ensure successful delivery of projects on time, within scope, and on budget
  • Work with external partners to coordinate resources and solve issues
  • Assist team members in their duties, tasks, responsibilities and functions as needed to achieve targets
  • Drive the quality and timeliness of deliverables from dependent team resources
  • Where applicable, manage, track, and report against identified budgets
  • Possess outstanding oral and written communication skills
