SQL Architect

Our client near Twinsburg is looking for a SQL Architect to spearhead database design to support business applications, as well as develop database architectural strategies at the modeling, design and implementation stages. The ideal candidate has at least 7 years of experience with full life cycle database design and development with SQL Server. This resource will also be expected to have a strong background with T-SQL stored procedures, performance tuning, TRY/CATCH error handling, cloud technologies (preferably Azure), and SSIS/SSRS.

Required

Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, or other relevant experience.

7+ years of experience in the full life cycle of designing and developing databases and applications using MS SQL Server

Relational Database Design/Development

Excellent understanding of T-SQL programming and Microsoft SQL Server

Error handling via TRY/CATCH with event logging

Expertise in sophisticated relational database report design, development, and maintenance

Experience using reporting tools such as SSIS, SSRS, PowerBI

Advanced knowledge of database security

Plusses

Experience with MS Team Foundation Server is a plus

Experience with Microsoft Service Broker technology is a plus

Experience with C# is a plus
