Well-known and established architecture and interior design firm specializing in Club Amenities design seeks experienced Senior Architect to mentor an award-winning design team to provide innovative design solutions which exceed client expectations and create transformative outcomes.
Duties and Responsibilities:
·Demonstrate professional leadership qualities and ethics.
·Demonstrate ability to generate creative and innovative solutions.
·Represent the firm at project interviews and contract negotiation meetings.
·Develop a strategy to design and implement a defined scope of work as outlined in a clients program.
·Demonstrate detailed knowledge of specialized building type layouts, programing requirements and operational requirements at speaking engagements and in articles as an industry authority. Become the industry authority.
·Contribute in the preparation of detailed design and construction documents during all project phases.
·Evaluate material and building systems research and participate in the coordination of project specifications.
·Provide input and management of project documents generation/production with the full consultant team.
·Check, coordinate and integrate work with other project team members and consultants.
·Actively support compliance with project standards and procedures.
·Knowledge of golf industry and passion for the game.
·Five or six-year Master degree in Architecture (accredited degree).
·Licensed to practice architecture in the State of Florida and NCARB certified.
·Excellent communication skills with staff and clients a must.
·Excellent design and presentation skills.
·Minimum of 15 years professional experience in all phases of club amenities projects including preparation of conceptual, schematic, design development, and construction documents.
·Demonstrated knowledge of building systems materials, construction techniques, related engineering principles, sustainability strategies and building codes related to club amenities design.
·Demonstrated proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Revit, word processing and spreadsheet software.
·Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
·Willing to travel, including occasional overnights.
