We are the Silicon Valley leader in the IoT and Semiconductor space searching for a strong Senior Royalty Analyst to join our growing team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing our royalty accounting operations, data modeling, providing financial analysis, and ensuring revenue recognition in accordance with relevant accounting standards. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, where you will be responsible for managing the month-end close process, conducting technical accounting, and overseeing IP licensing and royalty operations.

Job Details


  • Manage the month-end close process, ensuring all royalty obligations are accurately reported and accounted for in a timely manner.
  • Conduct technical accounting for royalty payments, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
  • Oversee the revenue recognition process for royalties, ensuring all revenue is accurately recognized and reported.
  • Conduct flux analysis to identify and explain variances in royalty payments and revenues.
  • Develop and maintain data models to facilitate the accurate forecasting and reporting of royalty revenues and payments.
  • Manage IP licensing and royalty operations, ensuring all licenses are accurately tracked and all royalty obligations are met.
  • Provide financial analysis on royalty revenues and payments, identifying trends and providing insights to support decision-making.
  • Work closely with other members of the finance team to ensure the accuracy and integrity of all royalty-related financial data and reports.
  • Continuously review and improve royalty accounting processes and systems to increase efficiency and accuracy.


  • Semiconductor industry experience required.
  • Big 4 public accounting preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on royalty accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of data management, data modeling, technical accounting, revenue recognition, and flux analysis.
  • Experience in IP licensing and royalty operations.
  • Strong financial analysis skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and provide insightful analysis.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
