Our client is a Private Real Estate Investment firm that has 75+ years of development and property management experience in the Greater Boston area, along with having several other offices across the US. They are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Analyst to join their Acquisitions team. This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to work in the fast-paced and ever-changing real estate industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing complex financial data, developing financial models, and providing strategic insights to support business decisions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate, cash flow models, asset management, financial due diligence, underwriting, and Argus.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct financial analysis and modeling to support investment decisions
  • Develop and maintain cash flow models and waterfalls for real estate investments
  • Perform financial due diligence on potential investments and acquisitions
  • Analyze and interpret financial statements and other financial data
  • Prepare investment memos and presentations for senior management and investors
  • Assist in asset management activities, including monitoring performance and identifying opportunities for value creation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in finance, preferably in real estate or private equity
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in financial modeling and analysis
  • Experience with underwriting and financial due diligence
  • Knowledge of Argus software
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn and take on new challenges
