This entry-level role is ideally suited for recent graduates and undergraduates who possess a deep passion for software development and are enthusiastic about launching their careers in Data Fusion, Data Visualization, and UI/UX design.  

Responsibilities

As a UI/UX Developer at Credence, you will have the opportunity to work on engaging software projects that integrate UI/UX design with AI/ML, Data Fusion, Analytics, and Cloud technologies. You'll collaborate closely with experienced professionals, gaining valuable insights, and making meaningful contributions to the development of our solutions that excel in user-centric design and data utilization.

 

Front-End Development:

 

  • Web Development Fundamentals: A solid foundation in web development technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, acquired through coursework and personal projects.
  • Responsive Design: Understanding of responsive design principles and the ability to create web interfaces that adapt seamlessly to various screen sizes and devices.
  • Scripting Language Proficiency: Proficiency in a scripting language (e.g., Python, Ruby) to enhance web development capabilities and automate repetitive tasks.
  • UI/UX Awareness: Basic knowledge of user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design principles and a willingness to learn more about creating intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces.

 

Dashboard Development:

  • Dashboard Interest: A strong interest in designing and developing interactive dashboards to display data, metrics, and insights to users.
  • Data Visualization: Eagerness to explore data visualization libraries (e.g., D3.js, Chart.js) to create engaging charts, graphs, and data representations within dashboards.

 

Framework and Library Proficiency:

  • JavaScript Basics: Familiarity with JavaScript basics and the eagerness to dive deeper into JavaScript libraries and frameworks, such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Version Control: Basic understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git) and a willingness to collaborate on code projects.

 

Collaboration:

  • Team Collaboration: Eagerness to collaborate closely with designers, back-end developers, and other team members to bring web projects to life and ensure seamless integration.

Qualifications

  • US Citizenship or Permanent Resident required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Web Development, or a closely related field (for undergraduates, in-progress degree is acceptable) is required.
  • Proficiency in foundational web development technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, gained through coursework, personal projects, or internships.
  • A creative and detail-oriented mindset with a genuine passion for crafting user-friendly and visually appealing designs.
  • Scripting language proficiency, such as Python or Ruby, is a bonus but not required.
  • Prior exposure to user-centered design principles or related coursework is an advantage.
