Job Summary –

The Information Technology team is all about developing the next generation of IT professionals. You will have access to our technology leaders and be exposed to different aspects of Caterpillar’s business. You will gain foundational knowledge of the manufacturing industry, as well as of key technology trends. We are currently seeking an Azure Cloud Engineer to join the Enterprise Cloud Adoption team. What You Will Do:

  • Provide cloud infrastructure technical support, problem identification and resolution in Caterpillar’s Azure Gov Cloud Environment.

  • Apply OS patches and manage vulnerability remediations.

  • Work with senior engineers and architects to deploy or integrate cloud technologies based on requirements gathered from customers within the Gov cloud environment.

  • Follow Caterpillar ITSM procedures using ServiceNow for ticket management.

  • Assisting customers with documentation, training and usability efforts.

  • Design, migrate, build and manages Microsoft Azure PaaS or IaaS cloud solutions

What You Have:

  • Must be US citizen based in the US. No dual citizenship. No green card status

  • Must be qualified and abide by CUI data regulations and requirements for CMMC environment.

  • Bachelor Degree in an IT degree or Strong of IT experience

  • Ability to troubleshoot infrastructure and/or application issues in Azure Gov Cloud environment

  • Experience developing automated solutions to deploy infrastructure or applications ( PowerShell, VBS, Python, Java, NodeJS, JSON or YAML )

  • Certification in AZURE

  • Experience using the Agile methodology

  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines, specifically Azure DevOps (Microsoft VSTS)

  • Experience developing automated solutions to deploy infrastructure or applications

  • Experience developing or implementing architectural designs, processes, and procedures

  • Strong communication, teamwork, analytical, and interpersonal skills

  • Strong problem solving and customer service skills

  • Strong ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed

  • Ability to work independently and manage time as well as being a collaborative team member Able to manage own duties including setting priorities

  • Familiar with company policies and procedures
