Azure Data Engineer

We’re looking for someone like you to work with our clients and meet their mission by deploying a data lake for Veteran's Affairs (VA).
This is an opportunity to implement data engineering activities on some of the most mission-driven projects in the industry. Supporting the VA's Veterans Experience, you’ll have the chance to design, configure, and run raw data ingestions into parquet file formats in Azure Data and Delta Lake as well as utilize Microsoft Synapse, Databricks, and other ETL tools to process those parquet files. From sharing your skills in analytical exploration and examination of data to supporting the assessment, design, building, and maintenance of scalable platforms, you’ll work with our clients to solve their most pressing challenges. 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure Data Factory or Azure Synapse
Experience with Microsoft Athena, parquet files, or Databricks
Experience with Oracle, including running basic queries and using Oracle tooling
Knowledge of Jira
Ability to self-organize as part of a mid-size Scrum team and apply data engineering expertise
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
HS diploma or GED
Nice If You Have:
Certified Microsoft Azure Data Engineer Associate Certification

The projected compensation range for this position is $58,300.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
