Job Description A Non-profit organization located in Arlington, VA is searching for an .NET Applications Developer to join their team for a full-time position. They assist their clientele in addressing concerns and enhancing their management of human resources and aid a diverse array of federal, state, and commercial enterprises by devising resolutions for issues spanning from insufficient human resources to the organization's specialized education and training needs.

As a .NET Applications Developer, you will be working on their main internal websites and helping them migrate to newer technologies using C# and .NET.

This is a Full-time, hybrid position (3 – days onsite) located in the heart of Arlington, VA.

Required Skills Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
  • 7-10 Years Experience in Software Engineering.
  • Experience in C# /.NET (.NET Core or .NET).
  • Experience working on a team of Engineers.
  • Experience in jQuery
  • MUST Have extensive experience in Angular (at least 5+ years)
  • MUST be able to attain a Public-trust Clearance.
  • Must be able to commute to work 3 days a week.

Desired Skills Experience
  • Experience in AWS (or Azure or GCP).
  • Experience in React, or Vue.
  • Experience working at a research organization.
  • Experience in JavaScript or Typescript.
  • Experience with Rest APIs
  • Great Communication.

Technical Breakdown
  • 80% Backend Development
  • 20% Frontend Development

Daily Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with a team of engineers on the development of new applications and updates to existing ones. This involves tasks such as requirements analysis and definition, system design, implementation, testing, deployment, and sustainment.
  • Create and deliver new features and applications in accordance with specified requirements and design specifications.
  • Engage directly with the business to gather requirements and collaborate with team members to manage the development, delivery, and support of systems and vendor integrations. Lead the way in driving requirements, business analysis, and architectural decisions for systems.
  • Be actively involved in the project lifecycle, encompassing design, storyboarding, prototyping, development, testing, deployment, and implementation of custom business applications using the latest tools and technologies.
  • Define requirements and features in collaboration with business users, and provide regular status reporting on development and maintenance tasks.
  • Act as a team member, actively participating and sharing technical knowledge with fellow developers.
