Software Programmer - C++/Julia

Solidus is searching for a Software Programmer to support the ACAS X (Airborne Collision Avoidance System) team with software build/release management and continuous integration/delivery.  

Successful individual will join a team that conducts research on integrated sensing and decision support architectures to support safe and efficient air and surface transportation. They are world experts in airborne collision avoidance systems for manned aircraft and are currently leading efforts to develop systems to support integration of Unmanned Aircraft Systems platforms into the U.S. National Airspace System.  

A Day in the Life:
• Development and maintenance of C++ and Julia interface wrapper enabling input to and output from the ACAS X software
• Development and maintenance of the Julia and LaTeX tools for auto-generation of ACAS X documentation
• Compilation and release of ACAS X software suite
• Management of ACAS X software repositories and continuous integration tools
• Integration of the ACAS X software with the team's MATLAB-based simulation environment and other analysis tools

What will you bring to the role:
Requirements
• US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance
• Bachelor’s Degree plus minimum 3 years’ experience
• Onsite 3 days/week

• Mex Interface to C/C++
• Scientific Programming i.e., Julia
• Software Build Scripting i.e., Make, Cmake, Nmake
• Software release management
• Boost Library

• Multithreaded and Multiprocessor Applications
