Cedar Fair is seeking a Sr. Applications Developer at our corporate office in Charlotte, NC. This position will design, develop, analyze, and troubleshoot software solutions to meet business requirements with a focus on delivery within project timelines. Design, code and test components in adherence to development standards and architecture guidelines. Provide Architectural blueprints including micro services and technical leadership to our IT team. Presenting ideas for development and improvement of the company’s products and requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Researching, designing, developing, implementing, and managing software programs.
- Document application architecture and data flows. Documentation to include detail diagrams of entire application process.
- Professionally maintain all software and create updates regularly to address customer and company concerns.
- Projects participation, providing input, proposed and or participate in design and architect software solution.
- Administrative tasks including emails, daily stand up and meetings.
- Ensure software security by developing programs to actively monitor the sharing of private and confidential information.
- Researching, designing, developing, implementing, and managing software programs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required in Information Systems or Computer Science.
- 10+ years work-related experience required.
- 10 or more years’ experience in application life cycle management, architecting, and developing on .net (c#) platform or Open source using MS Visual Studio or other standard IDE. Experience with MS SQL or other relational data store. Advanced understanding of coding techniques and ability to support and lead company application architectural path.
- Software life cycle experience. Knowledge of .NET Core, Micro services architecture, JSON, REST. Experience with React, Angular and Java Script.
- Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.
- Must possess a valid Driver's License.
