HTML symbols are codes that allow you to add special characters to a web page. These characters are often not available on your keyboard.
For example, if you want a check mark (✓) or a copyright symbol (©) you use a special code to display these symbols. Just like text, you can change their size, color, and position.
To create a particular symbol you can choose from different codes (unicode, hex code, html code, etc.), all of which are listed below and in subsequent pages.
