Hello Wayne:

I know you already made your purchases, but I like to explain it to anyone else interested.  Here it goes.

The first thing to purchase is the standard .NET Design Pattern Framework 4.5 which contains all patterns and several sample applications including the new Spark rapid application development platform. It contains all the information and learning materials you need.

What PRO offers is two Code Generators that are built on top of the Spark platform. These generators automatically create 3 out of 4 layers for your applications. It contains the necessary documentation and details, but its focus is entirely on the Code Generation process.

Once you have studied the Standard package you will understand exactly what the PRO package will offer.  You will be able to make the correct determination whether you need it or not.

To summarize: the sequence to purchasing should be:

   1) Standard .NET Design Pattern Framework 4.5, and then
   2) PRO .NET Design Pattern Framework 4.5.

Hope this helps.
