Licensing question

I am not super clear on the licensing.  If I buy this can I use this on applications at work where other developers don't have a license and/or can I use this in open source projects?  The license states:

Please note that you are not allowed to distribute or make available source code, documents, or diagrams from the Design Pattern Framework to anyone outside your license.

As far as I understand it this has pieces distributed in source code form, that would mean anyone that touches the code needs a license?
