Direct Engineering from UML DiagramsHi:
I can't find any resource (book, blog, etc.) that explains how to produce C# code from UML Diagrams, manually. I find ways to do it automatically using VS, or other UML Products, but now I'm interested in how to do it manually. I only found a blog that explained how to produce code from some relationships like association, dependencies, etc. Thanks in advance, Rafael Rafael Soteldo, May 15, 2013

Reply 1I am also interested in this question. Can anyone recommend a tool to produce C# from a UML diagram?

Reply 2Rafael:
I don't know about you, but as a developer (for over 20 years) I have found UML to be pretty useless. When I think in terms of architectures, object models, and code, I just don't have UML diagrams in my head. I have worked on many projects (private business, public companies, state agencies, internet start-ups, etc), and NOWHERE have I seen any use for UML or anyone benefiting from it. Now that I think about it, I have never seen a single developer review or use a UML diagram. Of course, I have seen thousands of diagrams being drawn with boxes and lines (arrows) connecting them, but not 'proper' UML diagrams. Of course, this is my personal experience. I would be happy to hear other developer's experiences. Jacob. Jacob Tanner, Jul 11, 2013
