How can I convert VML To SVG for exporting an Image File

Hi everyone,

We are using the JavaScript Raphael js library for creating an HTML5 canvas object.
The Raphael.js  library creates VML format in IE6 - IE8  but for IE9 and higher (and other browsers) it creates SVG format.

In SVG format I am able to create an image file using some additional libraries (canvg.. ). However, I cannot do this for the older versions of IE. To solve this I will need some client-side (or server side) format converter.
Either: VML -> SVG or VML -> some image format. 

How do I do this?
