Singleton Pattern usage DAL with EntityFramework on ASP.NET

 Hi ,

    I used  singleton pattern  on DAL which is using EntityFramework ,from the Business Layer i am getting DAL  and  asp.net forms use business layer. Is this usage dangerous!, What can happen when the connection broken on asp.net. I want to learn system runtime flow architect, i assume something but i am not sure..
