Deploy Service

How do you deploy service? I know the project right now defaults it to a port in the project properties and in the web.config the endpoint identity is set to "localhost". So, do I leave the port to 4753 in the WCF project and leave it to local host in the web.config? I created my own service and want to put it out on a server and access from my project now.
