Which Application Framework to use?

Hi All,

I am currently working on a few small projects. We have to decide which framework to go for as we will probably use this framework as backbone of all of other incoming small projects. I'm currently stuck as I'm not good in this. Can anyone help?

I listed out my draft idea on the framework that i'm thinking to implement, pls advise me if u have better idea.
I'm trying to minimize the impact and interdependencies on each of the project. Our approach is to minimize the dependencies when there are new projects added into the site, meaning no downtime or restart or replace with the existing dll for those existings apps..

I'm not planning for web services, as the network traffic is something that we want to avoid in here.

Not sure if i'm explaining clear here, pls feel free to give me ur comment and advise.

Thanks.

Draft Design

Project A
  • Presentation Layer
  • Business Layer
  • Data Layer
  • Framework A (handle most of the basic things like login, authentication, logging of errors, etc)

Project B
  • Presentation Layer
  • Business Layer
  • Data Layer
  • Framework A (handle most of the basic things like login, authentication, logging of errors, etc)

*Framework A should have all the cross-cutting, reusable code.
