Programmatic access of SkyDrive from Window Phone 7

Not sure whether this is the right platform, but my question is this:
Does anyone know how to programmatically access SkyDrive from Windows Phone 7?

To my knowledge there is no public API for SkyDrive right now.  There are some libraries available on Codeplex, but nothing official.
Personally, I would not be surprised if Microsoft would make some announcement early next year (2011).
