MVC and MVP

Hello,

I am learning MVP and MVC  design pattern and I have read so many articles but I am not getting the exact idea. Can someone explain this with an one example of each (MVC and MVP).

It would help us if you could specify what parts you do not understand and what parts you do understand. Is it in the technical details or is it the purpose of the pattern?
