Started as a Structural Engineering creating custom engineering calculation and graphics packages, and then designed custom interactive graphics design and drafting packages. Became a systems manager responsible for managing a design build construction companyies IT and IS department responsible for creating our 5 yr strategic plan and 1 yr tactical plan including all departmental expenses (personnel, training, equipment, contracts, etc.).
After company was sold and RIF I went back into personal and contract programming full-time which is my first love. Retrained as a C# and later a VB.net programmer with a lot stronger SQLServer, T-SQL, PL/SQL, ORACLE ability. |
