First you need to create a data model that follows certain conventions. The code-generator will then read the model and generate the appropriate repository layer, business objects, and data layer (by the way, the use of the code-generator is optional as you can also hand-code the same). To answer you second question, we use Web API in favor of WCF.

I'm also interested, but I thought there is not enough information about this product. How can you generate different layer ?
Are there any tools ? Logically, we have to define all entities, business rules etc.
And also, can we define which technology we want to use? For example, if I want to use WCF web service or Web API for service layer.
