Are there Design Patterns for Metro Style Apps?

Hi,

This site is of immense help for beginners like me to learn how to implement pattern.  

Can someone mention which Design Patters the new Metro Style / Windows 8 follows?
In other words, which Patterns are best for Metro app development?

If you write it using XAML (a a WPF app) then MVVM will help you.

If you write it as a JavaScript then you can use MVVM as well, look at the knockout.js library.
